Nestled off the lobby of Hotel Lucia, The Crown is the newest cocktail-centric bar by Chef Vitaly Paley serving up New York-style pizzas, salads and bar bites. Inspired by Paley’s time spent in New York City as a student at the Julliard School and later when he began his career as a chef, The Crown dishes up hot slices of signature and classic pies conceived from years spent scouring the city for the perfect slice.
A collaboration between Paley, Imperial chef Matthew Jarrell and a third generation pizzaiolo, Vinny Manna, who learned the art of pizza making from his grandfather in Naples, Italy, The Crown plays off of ingredients from Paley’s trio of Portland dining hotspots with signature pies drawing on seafood from Headwaters, fried chicken from Imperial and charcuterie from Paley’s Place.
